FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Below are the most commonly asked questions received by our customer service team. If your question is not answered here, please contact us directly using the "Contact Us" page.
Are your prices in Euro or Pounds Sterling?
All prices shown on this website are in Euro and include VAT.
Do you supply roof racks?
Unfortunately not, due to insurance limitations. For any customer wishing to book a car from an airport location, we stress the importance of requesting a car big enough to carry both passengers AND luggage inside the car.
Can I rent a minibus?
The largest vehicles in our fleet are 7-seater models, either saloon or 4x4 (Groups P and H respectively). Under Cyprus law, a normal driving license allows a driver to carry up to 6 passengers in a vehicle: any more passengers than 6 would require the driver to possess a special license. Because of this restriction, we do not make larger vehicles available for rent.
What if I want to keep the car longer than I intended?
Most rentals are of either 7 or 14 days duration, but there are occasions when it may be necessary for someone to extend their rental and keep their car for longer than originally intended. These situations can be handled by any of our branches across the island who can arrange for the rental contract to be extended. All we ask is a minimum 24 hours notice before the original contract is due to end. Payment for the extension is made locally.
Can I take a car to the Northern part of Cyprus?
Even though some passageways into the Occupied Area have opened following Cyprus's entry into the EU, the area is still classified as being under Turkish military control and consequently, our insurance liability does not extend beyond the border of the republic. We are also unable to provide any breakdown cover whatsoever in the region. For these reasons, we do not recommend that customers take our rental vehicles into Northern Cyprus. In the event of an accident or incident to the vehicle whilst over there, the driver will be held responsible for the full market value of the vehicle.
